In May 1975, KUA`AINA was born in Haleiwa, a small rural town on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, known as the "OLD HISTORIC TOWN." On the first day of opening, only 12 meals were sold.
However, its deliciousness has certainly gained it the support of local surfers, and it continues to be loved on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, as "a hamburger worth driving 70 miles (about 113 km) to eat."
